This mandatory North Dakota continuing education course is designed to deepen your understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion and how these practices can impact your business and clients. You deal with diverse customers and clients. Would you ever decide on your own what kind of house a buyer client needs and then refuse to find them any other kind of house? Of course not! However, if you can recognize your own biases, listen to your client, and learn about their needs that you might not have anticipated, you can help them find exactly what they want. You’ll have taken your own step toward achieving equity—and your client can enjoy building up a different kind of equity in their new home.

This course provides three hours of CE for all North Dakota salespersons, broker associates, and brokers who want to renew as active for the calendar year 2026.

Course highlights include:

  • Defining and distinguishing diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Equity vs. Equality
  • Benefits and challenges of implementing the practice of DEI
  • Creating a culture of belonging
  • Understanding what DEI is not
  • Serving diverse populations
  • Interacting with diverse customers and clients
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Identifying the five faces of racism
  • Religious and familial discrimination
